Any optional Auction Management Services are invoiced separately by The Auction Collective.
Indy.auction is designed as a self-serve auction platform, so you can run your own auctions whenever you like, with the only cost being a percentage fee on sold lots.
There are no additional auction fees, but Stripe and PayPal, our payment providers, add their own payment process fees which are usually between 1-3%. These are subject to change, so please check their websites.
However, if you'd like support with setting up your account, uploading lots, or managing your auction, we offer optional services for a pre-agreed fee. You can learn more on these here.
When setting up your auction, you can choose to add a Buyer’s Fee - either as a fixed amount or a percentage of the final price. The exact amount is entirely up to you and can be used to cover your auction costs.
This fee will be automatically added to the buyer’s checkout total, on top of the hammer price (the final result for the auction lot).
The Buyer’s Fee is clearly displayed on the auction page under Auction Rules, and is included in the default auction terms and conditions - so all bidders are fully informed before placing any bids.
Payment provider fees, such as those charged by Stripe or PayPal are charged separately by the payment provider themselves.
